Born in nearby Sherman, Texas, G.A. Miller  has fished Texoma all of his life.  He and his wife Linda went fishing on their first date over thirty years ago and have enjoyed Texoma ever since. 

G.A. spent twenty-seven years in the banking industry before he began guiding in 1987.  However, during his banking career, most of his free time was spent fishing tournaments on Texoma and area lakes.  During this period, G.A. caught one lake record and one state record fish.  Since he began guiding, his clients have boasted two lake records and one state record fish.

 A member of the Texas Outdoor Writer’s Association, G.A. has written monthly columns for three different magazines (for a current Lake Texoma fishing report, see G.A.’s column on the Internet at www.fishingenet.com).  He has also appeared on several T.V. fishing shows and hosted a fishing program on radio.

 As an active member of the Pottsboro Chamber of Commerce, G.A. has served terms on the Board of Directors, been Treasurer and is involved in the Chamber’s Tournament Committee and Striper Day Benefit Tournament.

 G.A.’s Striper Guide Service includes on the water instruction for the novice and can be enjoyed by all ages regardless of fishing experience.  It is also a great way to introduce children to the sport of fishing.
